Today Im SUPER excited to share with you a super delicious and healthy creation by the ever lovely, and incredibly talented, Amy of Amy’s Piece of Cake
I TRULY believe that living a healthy lifestyle should be a FULL TIME YES experience!
What I mean by that is, in each and every moment, your body, your mind, your soul, is saying “YES! I LOVE this!”
Every time I eat, every time I workout, every time I meditate, get in to nature, connect with friends, listen to my intuition, there is a sense of “YES!” in all the cells of my body!
This is what I believe true health is about.
Living in alignment with what feels RIGHT and GOOD and TRUE for you!
Anywho, without further ado, here is a brilliant recipe that you can try and add to your “healthy living is delicious” repertoire.
3 small bananas, mashed with a fork (approx. 350 to 400 grams)
3 tbsp maple syrup (agave nectar works fine too)
2 dl (little less than 1 american cup) nut butter of choice (I used peanut butter)
3 tbsp (raw) cocoa
Optional but they will be better:
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp bicarbonate
For garnish (if you wish):
some dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
walnuts, roughly chopped
Preheat oven to 175C/350F and line or lightly grease a muffin tin.
Mash the bananas in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients.
Stir with a spoon and spoon the batter into muffin tins about 2/3 full.
Garnish with chopped dark chocolate and walnuts if you wish.
Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Insert a toothpick in the center and see if it comes out clean.
If you want them a bit gooey then just take them out earlier from the oven
Wait until they are completely cooled before removing them from the muffin tin.
Enjoy lots, mmm!
All my love,
